The caff
Plaistow Cafe is an old-school East London caff on Plaistow Road, cooking for the people who live and work around Newham. The tea's hot by quarter past six, the pans are on, and breakfast keeps coming right through the day.
It's the room where builders, cabbies, shift workers and families all end up at the same formica tables — big plates, quick service and a proper cup of tea. As the window says, Newham's cookin' good.

Yes. A full English, eggs on toast or a bacon sandwich is on whenever you fancy it, right up to closing. There's no cut-off at 11am here.
Plenty. A veggie breakfast, omelettes, jacket potatoes, beans on toast and salads are all on the menu, and customers regularly tell us there's more than enough to choose from. Just ask at the counter if you'd like something adjusted.
